Edit text in a PSD online without Photoshop

Edit supported PSD text layers in your browser and export an image. Understand font substitution, flattened text and complex-layer limitations.

How to change text

Open a PSD, select an editable text layer in the layer list, enter your replacement and apply the change. Check the preview before downloading a PNG or JPG. Editing is only available when the document passes compatibility checks.

Why some text cannot be edited

Text that has been flattened into an image is no longer an editable text layer. Warped, rotated, multi-style or nested smart-object text may also be unsupported. This tool does not reconstruct flattened text or pretend that an unsupported layer was edited.

Fonts can change the result

A PSD does not necessarily include the fonts used to create it. A replacement font can change line breaks, letter spacing and overall layout. Read the font warning and compare the result carefully; this is not a promise of Photoshop-identical typography.

What gets exported

PNG and JPG exports are flat images, not editable Photoshop documents. Your original PSD stays on your device. This version does not promise a lossless PSD round trip.
